Tai Yai dance called peacock dance. Tai Yai are one of the Tai groups in SEA. They are often call as Shan people but Shan means Tai in Burmese. Shan State used to be part of Lanna Kingdom or Lanna Thai.

Peacock dance are from Tai Yai ethnic which can be fond in several country.
in China Yunnan (Sipsongpanna), Burma (Shan), Thailand (lanna kingdom) and Laos (northern laos provinces). Take a read in this link and i think you will understand better.

Recently i got back from a trip. I went to Thailand for the first time. despite not knowing anyone, not knowing my way around and clueless about the language, i had a fantastic time! i didn’t want to go home.

Here i got to do a lot of things among them was watch a few live music and dances from the region. they all came up and talked with me after the show. really good and friendly people. and yes, i fell in love with the girl in yellow! she is so beautiful! haha! enjoy!

Palm sugar is a natural sweetener made from the sap of palm trees.The sugar is a golden brown paste, sold in tubes, blocks or tin cans. It may be light-colored or dark, soft and gooey or hard. As a lightly-processed product of cottage industry, it varies greatly from batch to batch.

Palm sugar is often used to sweeten savoury food to balance out the salty flavour of fish. Its primary use in Thai cuisine is in sweets and desserts, and somewhat less often in curries and sauces.
