Known as the temple of reclining Buddha, Wat Pho is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. The temple is surrounded by large numbers of pagodas - four hugh pagodas, four single-based of five pagodas and another seventy-one small pagodas. They all are wonderfully decorated with variety of colorful mosaics.

The first step into the temple of reclining Buddha, you’ll be stunned with the gigantic size of the reclining Buddha image - it is 46 metres long and 15 metres high. You’ll start walking from the head of the Buddha image to the feet. At the feet, you’ll then again be impressed with the 108 auspicious signs of the Buddha made with mother-of-pearl inlaid in the Buddha’s feet.
