PANG SIDA National Park THAILAND

PANG SIDA National Park is a world heritage forest. It is part of DONGPHRAYA YEN-KHAOYAI fores, a very fertile forest full of plants and wildlife. It is one of the most fertile forests in Thailand.

Location: Wattana Nakorn and Na Dee District, Sakaeo, Thailand
Getting There: From Bangkok take bus or drive to Sa Kaeo, along Bangkok Aranya Prathet road. Then take the road no. 3462 (Sa Kaeo Khlong Nam Khiaw, to the north) for 27 km to reach the park headquarters. Or you can take Bangkok Aranya Prathet train and get off at Sa Kaeo and continue in local bus.
Accommodation: There are few bungalows, camping area and tents for rent, and some food shops. Information center will provide useful tips for the visitors. They have slides and videos.
The National Park has house renting service at 500-600 Baht per night. Tent area is also available at the rate of 5 Baht/person/night.
