His Majesty the King has granted royal permission for the use of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn’s Name, to replace the former name of Lam Dome Noi Dam to Sirindhorn Dam, The dam was completed in 1971 and has numerous benefits in the hydro-electric power generatiing, the water supply, the flood control as the fisheries.
